Tabletop Workers United is made up of workers at three board game cafes in New York City: Hex&Co, the Brooklyn Strategist, and the Uncommons. Workers at Hex&Co, which is a chain with three locations in Manhattan, became the first unionized board game cafe in NYC when they won their election in November 2023. They set off a chain of worker organizing in the industry, with the Brooklyn Strategist and the Uncommons following in their footsteps. Workers at the Brooklyn Strategist and the Uncommons won their union elections in December 2023.
