Our Joint Board recently caught up with the winners of this year’s union scholarship!

Mathews Martinez Vargas is attending  Montclair State University and will be majoring in Graphic Design. His father, Leocadio de Jesus Martinez, has been a union member since 2017 and works in stock at Alfred Dunner. The family is originally from the Dominican Republic and now lives in New Jersey.

Matthews’ parents shared that their son is a dedicated and applied student, and that they are grateful to the union for giving him this great opportunity.
